Begin by addressing God and asking for his help while you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it. It can be done by reading it three or four times, or writing down everything it reveals about yourself, or guidelines to obey , or promises to claim.
Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to sit in the presence of God.
The best thing about the prayer time routine is that it’s customizable to meet your requirements. Many people might only have a few minutes to spare, while others may have a half an hours or longer. The key is to make it a constant part of your daily routine. If you don’t make it through a day or two, don’t sweat it! Get back on track the following day.
An everyday prayer practice is an excellent opportunity to begin the new year with a fresh sense of purpose and feeling of connection to the divine. It’s a powerful method to begin your day by putting your focus on the Lord and making sure that your actions and thoughts are aligned to His plans.
Another method to improve your prayer routine is to make it more interactive. Instead of simply reciting words, you should try to connect with God on a deeper level. Try using your imagination to picture the scenes described within the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters, and put yourself in their position. This will make your prayer time more meaningful and personal.
Try incorporating different forms prayers into your daily routine. For example, try silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even writing down your prayers. This can keep your prayer routine from becoming repetitive and provide the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

Find a partner in accountability, a friend or family member who will be checking in with you and encourage you to stick to your schedule. They may even be a part of your prayer and share their personal experiences.
Rememberthat the purpose of daily prayer is to strengthen your relationship with God and ensure that your actions and thoughts are in line to His plan.
