Use your imagination and try to picture the scenes described by the Bible. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character and place yourself in their shoes. This makes your time of prayer more personal and meaningful.
You can also try incorporating various forms prayers into your routine. For instance, you can try silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even journaling your prayers. This can keep your prayer routine from becoming monotonous and add the variety you need to your spiritual practice.
