Begin by approaching God and asking for his presence while you read and pray.
Take a chapter from the Bible and meditate on it. This can be accomplished by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down anything it tells you about yourself, examples to follow, commands to obey or promises to keep.
Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your needs and pressing concerns as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
