Go through a section of the Bible and then meditate on it. This can be accomplished by reading it three to four times or by listing everything it reveals about yourself, or guidelines to obey , or promises to keep.

Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your urgent needs and concerns, and take time to enjoy God’s presence.

Another way to enhance your prayer time is to create a more interactive. Instead of just reciting words, try to engage with God on a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described by the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and put yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This will make your prayer time more personal and meaningful.

You can also try incorporating different types prayers into your daily routine. For example, try silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even journaling your prayers. This will keep your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

Find an accountability partner, a family member or friend member who can check on you regularly and help you to keep to your schedule. They may even be a part of your prayer and share their own experiences.
