Life is hectic and it’s easy to let prayer slip down on the list of priorities. However, just like everything else that’s worth having, it takes dedication and discipline. This is where establishing an effective prayer schedule comes in. It gives the structure and accountability needed to make sure we are connecting with the divine on regularly.

How do you get started? It’s the first thing to do is determine which time of the day is most conducive to you to pray. Some people prefer to start their day with prayer while others prefer to pray before going to going to bed. Experiment and see what works best for you.

Take the time to find a prayer routine that works for you and incorporate it in your daily life. You’ll be amazed by the impact it has on your spiritual growth and overall well-being.

Now we have completed that, let’s look at some of our favorite daily prayers:

1. A Morning Prayer for Strength

God, I’m exhausted and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running for years trying to conquer this trial. Help me to quit trying to run away from my pain but rather run with endurance the race that you have laid out for me. I am confident that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials that I face in life. I am certain that nothing in this world could ever be able to separate me from your eternal love. I ask you to show me a bit of your affection and give me the strength to stand through this test. I thank you so much for your devotion for me that will never end! Also, thank to you the chance of happiness that awaits me forever with you in the Kingdom of Heaven! – Adrian Rogers

2. A Morning Prayer for Courage

Lord, grant me courageous spirit as I move through this day. When I’m tempted give up, help me persevere. Grant me a cheerful spirit even when the circumstances don’t seem to go my way. And give me the courage to do whatever needs to be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

3. Prayer to Seek God Each Day

Father, praise God for the sky and sun, as both of them remind us of an exciting new day and opportunity to chase You. Thank You for reminding us that the journey isn’t all easy. But, it is important to remember we don’t have to carry the pain to each day. Please forgive us for focusing in the past and keeping grudges. 5. To receive guidance from the Holy Spirit

Lord, I pray you will move the Spirit more boldly throughout my daily life. I am aware that any sin can grieve and weaken the Spirit’s voice. Spirit and I ask against the temptation to sin. Help me to seek Your presence more than I desire sin. Help me grow in the fruit that comes from your Spirit and walk in closer to You. Lord, thank for your generous grace, abundant grace. Thank you that we don’t need to work for a drop of the mighty stream of mercy that flows in abundance to us right now. 7. A Prayer to Love the Life You Have

God Help me to love my life as it is in the present. Show me the good things that I tend to overlook and help me to be happy with my life. 8. Prayer Against Distractions Today

When I begin my day, remind me that I am a part of you, and my desire is to act accordingly. Keep my feet from stumbling and my thoughts from drifting into distractions that may steal precious energy and time from the most important things you have designed for me. 9. A Prayer for a Heavy Heart

Father My heart is heavy. I feel like I have to carry this burden by myself. Words like depressed, overwhelmed exhausted, and distraught seem to be the best description of my current state. 11. Rely on God Today

Lord, we today ask to continue to work with Your Holy Spirit to fill our lives. Lord, it’s easy for us to become overwhelmed by the worries that surround us in life However, we are aware That just like Your eyes is at the sparrow so also do You look after and look out for us.

We can learn today to be more dependent on You. Give us a deeper discernment of how You operate, so that we may gain a greater understanding that all that we see in our natural eyes is not all that is. Today , we pray for eyes to see Your hand in all things and hearts that are open to Your will. Amen. – Callie Logan

17. For Hope Today

Lord, help me hear your voice saying, “I am your hope” over the many other voices. Lord, your word declares, you are the hope for hopeless so I’m running to you with both my hands stretched out and grabbing your hand. Give me hope and give me a tangible reminder that today hope is a spiritual lifeline (Hebrews 6:19-20). God knows those things that are in my heart I barely dare to hope for. Today, I offer them to you, I believe in you and request that you do it because I know that you can accomplish more than I can ever think of, imagine or ask for in wildest dreams (Eph 3:20). 18. Courage for the Day Ahead

God I would like to believe in the fact that you’re with me and that I’m loved and respected from you… However, sometimes, it’s difficult. Help me speak the truth of your Word back to myself. Bring it from my heart into my soul. I ask you to give me peace and confidence to live as the conqueror because you’ve already given me victory over every obstacle and challenge. Amen. – Amy Green

19. For a God-Honoring Work Day

Establish the work of my hands by assisting me to be productive, patient, focused, and sharp. Be sure to keep me away from distractions and technology hindering my work , instead of aiding it. May your Spirit lead me in my work and help me to be joyful, creative, and worshipful-constantly reminding me of your love and that you’re the reason I have breath in my lungs. Teach me to align my family, work, church life, and rest in a way which will increase the glory of your name and let me bear the most fruit to further your kingdom.

And as I work, fix my eyes on Jesus and his final job on the cross which gave me treasure that I couldn’t earn, peace that I would not normally have, and a vivacious faith that will inspire me to work for to glorify God. Amen. – Kevin Halloran
