Once you’ve identified the ideal time for prayer You can begin to build your routine. Here’s an illustration of a typical daily routine for morning prayers:

Begin by approaching God to ask for his presence as you read and pray.

Take a chapter from the Bible and meditate on the passage. This can be accomplished by reading it three to four times, or listing the things it says about yourself or guidelines to obey or promises to claim.

Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your urgent needs and concerns as well as taking time to sit in the presence of God.

The great thing about the prayer time routine is that it is customizable to meet your requirements. For some, you may have only a few minutes to spare while others might be able to devote a whole time or even more. It’s important that you make this a consistent part of your routine. Find a partner in accountability, a friend or family member who can check in with you and help you to stick to your daily routine. They may even join you in prayer and share their personal experiences.
