Begin by approaching God, ask for his presence while you read and pray.
Go through a section of the Bible and meditate on it. This can be done by reading it three to four times or by listing everything it reveals about yourself, guidelines to obey or promises to keep.
Your prayer should be structured by offering adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your needs and pressing concerns and then take time to sit in the presence of God.
The best thing about praying is that it is customizable to suit your needs. For some, you may have only a few minutes to spare and others could be able to devote a whole hour or more. The trick is to make it a constant part of your routine. If you fall off a day or two Don’t be concerned! You can get back on track for the next day.

Another way to increase your prayer time is to create a more engaging. Instead of simply reciting phrases, try engaging with God at a deeper level. Try using your imagination to picture the scenes described by the Bible. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character, and put yourself in their shoes. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.
Try incorporating different forms of prayer into your routine. For example, try a silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even writing down your prayers. This will prevent your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.
One of the most effective ways to stay engaged and focused on your daily prayer routine is sharing your practice with others. Find a accountability partner either a close friend or family member who will be checking on you regularly and help you to stick to your routine. They can even join you in prayer and share their personal experiences.
