Go through a section of the Bible and meditate on it. It can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or listing the things it says about yourself or examples to follow, commands to follow or promises to make.
Structure your prayer by offering adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Pray for your urgent needs and concerns, and take time to be in God’s presence.

Another way to increase your prayer practice is to enhance it by making it more engaging. Instead of reciting the phrases, try engaging with God in a deeper way. Make use of your imagination and try to picture the scenes described in the Bible. Try to feel the emotions of the characters, and put yourself in their shoes. This will make your prayer time more meaningful and personal.
You can also try incorporating different types in your prayer daily routine. For example, try a silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even journaling your prayers. This can keep your prayer practice from becoming monotonous and add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.
One of the best methods to keep yourself focused and in line with your prayer practice is by sharing your practice with others. Find an accountability partner either a close friend or family member who will check in with you and help you to keep to your routine. They could even join you in prayer and share their own experiences.
Rememberthat the purpose of a daily prayer practice is to deepen your relationship with God and ensure that your actions and thoughts are in line in accordance with His plans.
