Begin by talking to God, ask for his blessing while you read and pray.
Go through a section of the Bible and then meditate on the passage. This can be done by reading it three to four times or by listing anything it tells you about yourself or the examples you can follow, instructions to obey or promises to make.
Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Make a prayer for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.

Another way to enhance your prayer time is to enhance it by making it more engaging. Instead of simply reciting words, try to engage with God in a deeper way. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character and put yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This can make your time in prayer more meaningful and personal.

One of the best ways to remain motivated and on track with your daily prayers is sharing your practice with other people. Find a partner in accountability either a close friend or family member who will be checking in with you and encourage you to stick to your routine. They could even join you in prayer and share their personal experiences.
