Begin by approaching God to ask for his presence as you read and meditate.
Take a chapter from the Bible and meditate on the passage. This can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself or the examples you can follow, instructions to obey or promises to keep.
Your prayer should be structured by making confession, adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your immediate needs and worries, and take time to be in God’s presence.
The beauty of a prayer routine is that it’s customizable to fit your needs. Many people might only have just a few minutes while others might have an hours or longer. Try using your imagination to imagine the scenes that are described in the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and place yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.
You can also try incorporating various forms in your prayer routine. For example, try a silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even journaling your prayers. This can keep your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

They may even join you in prayer and share their own experiences.
