Begin by approaching God to ask for his blessing as you read and pray.
Take a chapter from the Bible and meditate on it for a while. This can be accomplished by reading it three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself or guidelines to obey , or promises to make.
Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession as well as petition and thanksgiving. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to enjoy God’s presence.
