Once you’ve identified the ideal time to pray, you can start building your daily routine. Here’s an illustration of a typical daily routine for morning prayers:
Begin by talking to God and asking for his blessing as you read and pray.
Go through a section of the Bible and then meditate on the passage. This can be done by reading it three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself or examples to follow, commands to obey or promises to keep.
Make your prayer a ritual by offering adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Make a prayer for your immediate needs and worries, and take time to enjoy God’s presence.
The best thing about a prayer routine is that it is customizable to meet your requirements. For some, you may have only just a few minutes, while others may have a half an hour or more. It’s important that you make this a regular element of your day-to-day routine. If you fall off the occasional day or two do not fret! Get back on track the next day.

Another method to improve your prayer routine is to enhance it by making it more engaging. Instead of simply reciting words, try to engage with God at a deeper level. Try using your imagination to imagine the scenes that are described in the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and put yourself in their shoes. This makes your time of prayer more meaningful and personal.
Try incorporating different forms prayers into your daily routine. For instance, you can try silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even journaling your prayers. This will keep your prayer routine from becoming boring and will add the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

Find an accountability partner, a family member or friend member who can check on you regularly and help you to keep to your schedule. They could even join you in prayers and share their own experiences.
