Begin by approaching God, ask for his presence as you read and pray.

Go through a section of the Bible and meditate on it. This can be done by reading it three or four times, or writing down anything it tells you about yourself, guidelines to obey , or promises to keep.

Your prayer should be structured by making confession, adoration as well as petition and thanksgiving. Prayerfully address your urgent needs and concerns as well as taking time to sit in the presence of God.

Another way to increase your prayer routine is to enhance it by making it more interactive. Instead of reciting the phrases, try engaging with God at a deeper level. Make use of your imagination and try to picture the scenes described within the Bible. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character, and put yourself in their position. This will make your prayer time more personal and meaningful.

Try incorporating various forms prayers into your routine. For instance, you can try silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing down your prayers. This can keep your prayer routine from becoming repetitive and provide the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

Find a accountability partner, a friend or family member who will be checking in with you and help you to stick to your daily routine. They could even join you in prayer and share their personal experiences.
