Begin by addressing God and asking for his blessing as you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and then meditate on it. This can be accomplished by reading it three to four times or by listing the things it says about yourself, or examples to follow, commands to obey , or promises to make.
Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Prayerfully address your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
