Begin by approaching God and asking for his help while you read and pray.

Take a chapter from the Bible and reflect on the passage. It can be done by reading the passage three to four times or by listing anything it tells you about yourself, or examples to follow, commands to obey or promises to make.

Make your prayer a ritual by praying for adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your needs and pressing concerns as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.

The great thing about the prayer time routine is that it’s customizable to suit your needs. Many people might only have a few minutes to spare and others could have an hour or more. It is also possible to incorporate different forms prayers into your day-to-day routine. For example, try a silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even journaling your prayers. This will prevent your prayer practice from becoming repetitive and provide variety to your spiritual routine.

They may even join you in prayers and share their own experiences.
