Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Make a prayer for your needs and pressing concerns and then take time to enjoy God’s presence.

Make use of your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described within the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and put yourself in their shoes. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.

Find a accountability partner, a friend or family member who will be checking in with you and encourage you to stick to your routine. They could even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.
