Go through a section of the Bible and reflect on it for a while. It can be done by reading it three or four times, or writing down anything it tells you about yourself, or the examples you can follow, instructions to follow or promises to make.
Structure your prayer by making confession, adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
