Another way to increase your prayer routine is to make it more engaging. Instead of reciting the phrases, try engaging with God on a deeper level. Make use of your imagination and try to visualize the scenes within the Bible. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character and put yourself in their position. This makes your time of prayer more personal and meaningful.

You can also try incorporating different types in your prayer day-to-day routine. For example, try silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even journaling your prayers. This can keep your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add variety to your spiritual routine.
