Begin by approaching God and asking for his presence as you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and then meditate on it for a while. It can be done by reading it three or four times or by listing the things it says about yourself, or the examples you can follow, instructions to obey , or promises to claim.
Your prayer should be structured by offering adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your urgent needs and concerns and then take time to sit in the presence of God.

Another way to increase your prayer practice is to enhance it by making it more interactive. Instead of simply reciting phrases, try engaging with God on a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described by the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters, and put yourself in their shoes. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.
You can also try incorporating different forms prayers into your routine. For example, try a silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even journaling your prayers. This will keep your prayer routine from becoming monotonous and add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.
One of the best ways to stay focused and in line with your daily prayer routine is sharing the practice with other people. Find a partner in accountability, a family member or friend member who will check in with you and encourage you to adhere to your daily routine. They could even be a part of your prayer and share their own experiences.
