Once you’ve identified the ideal time to pray You can begin to build your routine. Here’s an example of a pattern that you can follow daily for prayer in the morning:
Begin by approaching God to ask for his help while you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and meditate on the passage. This can be accomplished by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself, or guidelines to follow or promises to keep.
Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Pray for your immediate needs and worries, and take time to sit in the presence of God.
The great thing about a prayer routine is that it’s customizable to suit your needs. For some, you may have only a few minutes to spare and others could be able to devote a whole hours or longer.
