Begin by addressing God, ask for his presence as you read and meditate.
Go through a section of the Bible and then meditate on the passage. This can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or listing everything it reveals about yourself or examples to follow, commands to obey or promises to make.
Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Prayerfully address your immediate needs and worries and then take time to enjoy God’s presence.
The best thing about a prayer routine is that it’s customizable to meet your requirements. Some people may only have some minutes and others could have a half an hour or more. It’s important to make it a constant element of your day-to-day routine. If you don’t make it through one or two days do not fret! Just get back on track the following day.
