This is where the creation of the habit of praying comes into. It helps us establish a the structure and accountability needed to ensure we’re connected to God on a an ongoing basis.

How do you begin? It’s the first thing to do is figure out which time of the day is most conducive to you to pray. Some people prefer to start their day by praying, while others prefer to pray before going to going to bed. Try it out and discover what works for you.

After you’ve decided on the most appropriate time to pray You can begin to establish a routine. Here’s an example of a pattern that you can follow daily for prayer in the morning:

Begin by approaching God, ask for his presence as you read and pray.

Go through a section of the Bible and meditate on it. This can be accomplished by reading it three or four times or by listing anything it tells you about yourself, or the examples you can follow, instructions to obey or promises to claim.

Your prayer should be structured by offering adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to enjoy God’s presence.

The great thing about a prayer routine is that it’s customizable to suit your needs. Many people might only have some minutes and others could have an hour or more. The key is making it a constant element of your day-to-day routine. If you fall off one or two days do not fret! You can get back on track for the next day.

An everyday prayer practice is an excellent method to begin this new year feeling a renewed belief in the purpose of your life and a connection with the divine. It’s a powerful way to start your day, placing your attention on the Lord and aligning your thoughts and actions to His plans.

Another way to enhance your prayer practice is to create a more engaging. Instead of just reciting phrases, try engaging with God at a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to picture the scenes described within the Bible. Try to feel the emotions of the characters and place yourself in their position. This can make your time in prayer more meaningful and personal.

You can also try incorporating various forms in your prayer day-to-day routine. For example, try a silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing down your prayers. This will prevent your prayer routine from becoming boring and will add variety to your spiritual routine.

One of the best ways to stay motivated and on track with your daily prayers is sharing the practice with other people. Find a accountability partner, a friend or family member who will check in with you and help you to keep to your schedule. They can even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.

Remember, the goal of a daily prayer practice is to increase your connection with God and align your thoughts and actions to His plan. It’s not about achieving perfection or following an unwritten set of guidelines, but rather being consistent and deliberate in your life of faith.
