Read a passage from the Bible and meditate on it. This can be accomplished by reading the passage three to four times, or listing everything it reveals about yourself, examples to follow, commands to obey , or promises to keep.
Structure your prayer by offering adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Prayerfully address your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
