Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession as well as petition and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your urgent needs and concerns and then take time to enjoy God’s presence.

Make use of your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described in the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and put yourself in their position. This makes your time of prayer more meaningful and personal.
