Once you’ve determined the best time for prayer, you can start to establish a routine. Here’s an example of a pattern that you can follow daily for morning prayer:

Begin by approaching God to ask for his help as you read and meditate.

Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on the passage. This can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or listing anything it tells you about yourself or guidelines to follow or promises to claim.

Make your prayer a ritual by offering adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Make a prayer for your urgent needs and concerns, and take time to enjoy God’s presence.

The best thing about the prayer time routine is that it’s customizable to meet your requirements. Some people may only have some minutes, while others may have a half an hour or more. It’s important to make it a consistent part of your daily routine. And if you miss a day or two Don’t be concerned! You can get back on track for the next day.

Another way to increase your prayer time is to create a more engaging. Instead of reciting the words, you should try to connect with God at a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described by the Bible. Make an effort to experience the emotion of each character and put yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This can make your time in prayer more meaningful and personal.

Try incorporating different forms of prayer into your day-to-day routine. For example, try silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing down your prayers. This will prevent your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

One of the best ways to stay focused and in line with your prayer practice is by sharing your practice with others. Find a partner in accountability, a friend or family member who will check in with you and help you to keep to your schedule. They may even be a part of your prayer and share their own experiences.

The goal of daily prayer is to increase your connection with God and align your thoughts and actions in accordance with His plans. It’s not about perfection or adhering to a strict set of rules, it’s about being consistent and deliberate in your daily spiritual practice. Therefore, make the effort to create a routine of prayer that you enjoy and set it as a priority in your day-to-day life.
