So, how do you start? The first step is to determine what time of day is the most suitable time to pray. Some people like to start their day by praying, and others prefer to pray before going to bed. Test and see which method works best for you.
Once you’ve identified the ideal time for prayer You can begin building your daily routine. Here’s an example of a daily pattern for morning prayers:
Begin by addressing God to ask for his blessing while you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it. This can be done by reading it three to four times, or listing the things it says about yourself, or examples to follow, commands to follow or promises to keep.
Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.

Try incorporating various forms in your prayer daily routine. For instance, you can try silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even writing down your prayers. This will prevent your prayer routine from becoming boring and will add the variety you need to your spiritual practice.
One of the best ways to stay focused and in line with your daily prayer routine is sharing the practice with other people. Find a partner in accountability, a friend or family member who can check in with you and help you to adhere to your daily routine. They may even join you in prayer and share their own experiences.
Rememberthat the purpose of a daily prayer practice is to increase your connection with God and ensure that your actions and thoughts are in line to His plan.
