Begin by talking to God and asking for his blessing as you read and pray.

Go through a section of the Bible and reflect on it. This can be done by reading it three or four times or by listing everything it reveals about yourself, or the examples you can follow, instructions to obey or promises to make.

Structure your prayer by making confession, adoration as well as petition and thanksgiving. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to sit in the presence of God.

Another way to enhance your prayer time is to make it more engaging. Instead of simply reciting words, you should try to connect with God at a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described in the Bible. Try to feel the emotions of the characters and put yourself in their shoes. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.

You can also try incorporating various forms prayers into your daily routine. For example, try silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing your prayers. This can keep your prayer routine from becoming monotonous and add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

One of the best ways to remain motivated and on track with your prayer practice is by sharing your practice with other people. Find an accountability partner, a family member or friend member who will check on you regularly and help you to keep to your schedule. They can even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.

Remember, the goal of daily prayer is to strengthen your relationship with God and make sure that your thoughts and actions are aligned with His will.
