Structure your prayer by making confession, adoration as well as petition and thanksgiving. Prayerfully address your needs and pressing concerns and then take time to sit in the presence of God.

Another way to increase your prayer routine is to create a more engaging. Instead of just reciting words, you should try to connect with God at a deeper level. Make use of your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described within the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters, and put yourself in their shoes. This will make your prayer time more meaningful and personal.

It is also possible to incorporate various forms in your prayer routine. For example, try silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing down your prayers. This will keep your prayer practice from becoming boring and will add variety to your spiritual routine.

Find a accountability partner, a family member or friend member who will be checking on you regularly and help you to keep to your schedule. They may even join you in prayers and share their own experiences.
