Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it. This can be accomplished by reading the passage three to four times, or listing everything it reveals about yourself, the examples you can follow, instructions to follow or promises to make.
Your prayer should be structured by making confession, adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your immediate needs and worries as well as taking time to enjoy God’s presence.

Use your imagination and try to picture the scenes described within the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and place yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This can make your time in prayer more personal and meaningful.
Try incorporating various forms prayers into your day-to-day routine. For instance, you can try silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even journaling your prayers. This will prevent your prayer routine from becoming repetitive and provide some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

Find an accountability partner, a family member or friend member who can check in with you and encourage you to stick to your daily routine. They could even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.
