Begin by addressing God and asking for his help as you read and meditate.
Go through a section of the Bible and reflect on it. It can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down anything it tells you about yourself, the examples you can follow, instructions to follow or promises to make.
Your prayer should be structured by offering adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Prayerfully address your urgent needs and concerns as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
The beauty of a prayer routine is that it can be adapted to fit your needs. For some, you may have only some minutes, while others may have an hours or longer. The key is to make it a regular part of your routine. And if you miss a day or two, don’t sweat it! Get back on track for the next day.

Make use of your imagination and try to visualize the scenes within the Bible. Try to feel the emotions of the characters and put yourself in their position. This makes your time of prayer more meaningful and personal.
Try incorporating different forms prayers into your day-to-day routine. For example, try a silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even writing your prayers. This will prevent your prayer routine from becoming monotonous and add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.
One of the most effective ways to stay motivated and on track with your daily prayer routine is sharing it with other people. Find a partner in accountability either a close friend or family member who will check on you regularly and help you to keep to your daily routine. They can even join you in prayers and share their own experiences.
The goal of daily prayer is to deepen your relationship with God and make sure that your thoughts and actions are aligned in accordance with His plans.
