Make use of your imagination and try to visualize the scenes by the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and place yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This makes your time of prayer more personal and meaningful.

It is also possible to incorporate various forms in your prayer routine. For example, try silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even writing down your prayers. This can keep your prayer practice from becoming repetitive and provide the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

They may even be a part of your prayer and share their personal experiences.
