Begin by approaching God, ask for his presence as you read and pray.

Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it. It can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself, the examples you can follow, instructions to obey , or promises to make.

Make your prayer a ritual by making confession, adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your needs and pressing concerns, and take time to sit in the presence of God.

The best thing about a prayer routine is that it’s customizable to suit your needs. Some people may only have a few minutes to spare while others might have a half an time or even more. Another way to increase your prayer routine is to create a more interactive. Instead of just reciting words, try to engage with God at a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to visualize the scenes in the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters and put yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This makes your time of prayer more meaningful and personal.

Try incorporating different forms in your prayer day-to-day routine. For instance, you can try silent prayer, contemplative prayer or even writing your prayers. This will prevent your prayer practice from becoming monotonous and add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

One of the most effective ways to remain motivated and on track with your daily prayers is sharing the practice with others. Find a accountability partner either a close friend or family member who will be checking in with you and encourage you to adhere to your daily routine. They may even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.

Remember, the goal of daily prayer is to deepen your relationship with God and make sure that your thoughts and actions are aligned in accordance with His plans.
