Begin by approaching God, ask for his presence as you read and pray.
Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it. It can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or writing down the things it says about yourself, the examples you can follow, instructions to obey , or promises to make.
Make your prayer a ritual by making confession, adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. Pray for your needs and pressing concerns, and take time to sit in the presence of God.

Find a accountability partner either a close friend or family member who will be checking in with you and encourage you to adhere to your daily routine. They may even be a part of your prayers and share their own experiences.
