So, how do you begin? First, you must figure out the time of day that is the most suitable time to pray. Some prefer to begin their day by praying, while others find it easier to pray before going to getting to bed. Experiment and see what works for you.

Once you’ve determined the best time to pray then you can begin building your daily routine. Here’s an example of a pattern that you can follow daily for prayer in the morning:

Begin by approaching God, ask for his help as you read and meditate.

Take a chapter from the Bible and then meditate on it for a while. This can be accomplished by reading it three or four times, or listing everything it reveals about yourself, examples to follow, commands to obey or promises to make.

Your prayer should be structured by praying for adoration, confession prayer, thanksgiving, and petition. Prayerfully address your immediate needs and worries, and take time to enjoy God’s presence.

The beauty of praying is that it can be adapted to suit your needs. For some, you may have only a few minutes to spare, while others may be able to devote a whole hours or longer. The key is making it a regular part of your daily routine. If you fall off one or two days do not fret! You can get back on track for the next day.

An everyday prayer practice is a great opportunity to begin your new year off with a new sense of purpose and connection with the divine. It’s a powerful way to begin your day by keeping your eyes upon the Lord and aligning your thoughts and actions in accordance with His plan.

Another way to increase your prayer practice is to create a more engaging. Instead of reciting the words, you should try to connect with God in a deeper way. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described in the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters, and put yourself in their the shoes of their characters. This makes your time of prayer more personal and meaningful.

You can also try incorporating various forms prayers into your daily routine. For instance, you can try silent prayer, contemplative prayer, or even writing your prayers. This can keep your prayer practice from becoming monotonous and add the variety you need to your spiritual practice.

One of the best methods to keep yourself focused and in line with your daily prayer routine is sharing your practice with others. Find an accountability partner, a family member or friend member who can check on you regularly and help you to adhere to your schedule. They could even be a part of your prayer and share their personal experiences.

The goal of daily prayer is to strengthen your relationship with God and ensure that your actions and thoughts are in line in accordance with His plans. It’s not about perfection or adhering to a strict set of guidelines, but rather being deliberate and consistent in your life of faith. Therefore, make the effort to discover a prayer practice that works for you and incorporate it in your daily life.
