Read a passage from the Bible and reflect on it for a while. This can be done by reading the passage three to four times, or listing everything it reveals about yourself, the examples you can follow, instructions to obey or promises to keep.
Make your prayer a ritual by making confession, adoration as well as petition and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your immediate needs and worries, and take time to enjoy God’s presence.
The great thing about the prayer time routine is that it can be adapted to fit your needs. Many people might only have some minutes and others could have a half an hours or longer.
