Begin by talking to God, ask for his blessing while you read and pray.
Go through a section of the Bible and meditate on the passage. This can be accomplished by reading it three to four times, or listing anything it tells you about yourself or examples to follow, commands to obey , or promises to keep.
Structure your prayer by praying for adoration, confession, petition, and thanksgiving. Make a prayer for your urgent needs and concerns as well as taking time to be in God’s presence.
The great thing about the prayer time routine is that it is customizable to fit your needs. For some, you may have only some minutes, while others may have a half an hours or longer. An everyday prayer practice is a wonderful method to begin the new year with a new feeling of purpose and connection with the divine. It’s an effective way to start your day, putting your focus upon the Lord and aligning your thoughts and actions in accordance with His plan.
Another method to improve your prayer routine is to make it more engaging. Instead of reciting the phrases, try engaging with God at a deeper level. Use your imagination and try to imagine the scenes that are described by the Bible. You can try to imagine the feelings of these characters, and put yourself in their position. This will make your prayer time more meaningful and personal.
It is also possible to incorporate different types prayers into your daily routine. For example, try a silent prayers, contemplative prayers, or even writing your prayers. This will prevent your prayer routine from becoming boring and will add some variety to your daily spiritual routine.

Find a accountability partner either a close friend or family member who will check on you regularly and help you to keep to your daily routine. They could even be a part of your prayer and share their own experiences.
Remember, the goal of a daily prayer practice is to strengthen your relationship with God and align your thoughts and actions with His will.
